Sorry for the late post on this week’s meeting. It’s been pretty hectic since Thursday and believe it or not this is the first chance I have gotten to post the past weeks meeting notes. I am also missing notes on Bill’s educational portion of the meeting today, in which was a continuing conversation about mastering the mixer. I will post Bill’s Briefs at a later time. Anyway….

At this week’s meeting we heard from Norb Fillian of AXA Advisors which specializes in working with businesses and self employed individuals providing them a full array of employee benefits including health, dental, and disability insurance. Norb also in conjunction with the benefits provides retirement plans such as 401(k), SEP and SIMPLE plans.
Norb took this opportunity today to talk in more detail about each area of his services.
Under Employee Benefits Norb handles the Health, dental, and Life insurance for companies. Along with this he also offers short term and long term disability. Some other products he offers are vision, employee assistance programs, COBRA services, Cafeteria Plans/POP Plans, and HRA/HSA Administration.
On the retirement side Norb covers plans like SEP, SIMPLE, and 401(k), along with defined benefit plans, and non-qualified retirement plans.
So if you have a company with anywhere from 4 to 50+ employees give Norb a call because he takes the fits out of employee benefits.
