Meeting December 10, 2009 – Speaker Tami Mirabella of Affordable Office Interiors

Good Afternoon and hope everyone is staying warm. Boy is cold out but that doesn’t mean your business cant be hot. We have a great meeting today, a great presentation, and great number of referrals being passed. I still haven’t been able to win the door prize yet, but find that par for the course.

BILL’S BRIEFS (Educational Nugget)

This week Bill completed the ten commandments of “Mastering the Mixer” with commandments number nine and ten.

Write comments on the back of business cards you receive
This is a great practice to start writing down on the person’s business card what they are seeking and if they were not seeking anything to at the least write down something you learned about the person from your conversation that will help you remember that person better.

Follow up with people you meet
Good follow up is the bloodline of business. Adopt your own system with whatever works best for you wither phone, email, etc. The most important thing to remember is to be consistent with your follow up.

Today we heard from our newest member Tami Mirabella of Affordable Office Interiors. Tami spent her time today to let us know about herself and about her business. Tami has been with AOI (Affordable Office Interiors) for 4 years now, previously she owned a Interior Decorating business, and Tami has a masters degree in business.

AOI has the unique ability to offer creative customized solutions for their clients by providing a blend of New, Recycled and Re Manufactured office furnishings. They have a 200, 000 square foot facility and have numerous solutions for your office environment. They have worked with companies from anywhere from one workstation to several hundred workstations and deal with projects ranging from space planning, brokering, rental, trade in, buy backs, installation and even office moving.

AOI also has new furnishings as well, with many brands and is a preferred Haworth dealer. They have pent of inventory on hand available as is or refurbished.  Some of AOI’s clients have included: McDonald’s, Motorola, Nissan, ManPower, and many more.

People Tami would love to meet include any owner of a business, CEO, COO, CFO, General Manager, Plant Manager, Director of Purchasing,  and alike.
