Meeting December 17, 2009 – Speaker Jim Peterson of Peterson Roofing
This was our last meeting of the year with the holidays both falling on a Thursday we will not meet again until 2010. 2009 was a great year and we all look forward to 2010 being even better.
BILL’S BRIEFS (Educational Nugget)
Today’s topic was “Attitude is Everything”. In business a positive attitude goes all long way to leading to positive results. It portrays confidence to your clients and reflects in everything you do in business. An analogy Bill used was that you put out food and water for our dog and he or she thinks you are god. You put the food and water out for a cat and they think they are god. 
Once again attitude is everything!

Jim spoke today about his new facility that although has taken a few years to complete was well worth the wait. Thier new address is:

Along with all the additional space and updated facilities they are now able to train their staff in house on the latest and greatest.
Jim also spoke about some new ideas they have coming up. One of them is where you will be able to view work on your roof from a web cam while not at home. With everyone’s busy schedule and more and more families being two income this comes in handy so that you can keep a close eye out the work being done on your home while still being able to be at work. You will soon also be able to visit their job sites to watch them in action.
They are in the process of getting all of their estimators certified by the state of Illinois and Peterson roofing not only guarantees their work for 7 years they give you a personal guarantee, meaning that by some chance if Peterson Roofing went out of business your roof would still be guaranteed by them personally. Alot of companies out there which Jim calls, storm chasers will do work give you a guarantee and then change their business name as to not have to guarantee their work no more. You wont have that problem with Peterson Roofing.
