Meeting 2-5-10 | Tom Gosche The Business Strategist

Well I am back again. It has been a tough year for me so far as I can not seem to get healthly. We had a great meeting today with a I believe 12 referrals being passed today. Bill, our educational coordinator started a four week educational piece on:

“The Importance of Dance Cards”

First off, if you are not already aware a Dance Card, a Dance Card is what we call in the BNI of getting togeterh with each member of the group on a ione on one personal level to get know that person better and the services they provide.

Some of the reasons for doing a dance card are….

  1. To update your knowledge on the other chapter members
  2. To be better able to practice Givers Gain
  3. To demonstrate your commitment to the other members
  4. To ensure others are up-to-date on my business
  5. To receive WOM Marketing ideas from other members

How long are your dance card appointments?
These should be no longer than an hour and no shorter than 20 minutes at one  members office or place of work

Remember that the value you place on your BNI Chapter and its Members will exactly equal the value you receive from the Members and the Chapter. Happy referring.
