If you are a professional in private practice, an entrepreneurial tradesman, operate a business, or have a position in sales, an opportunity exists for you to increase your sales revenues through a BNI chapter.
Becoming a member of BNI is like instantly acquiring a new team of sales people to help you find new referred clients. You must become a member of a BNI chapter. This happens through a formal application process initiated with the local chapter. Once accepted by the chapter’s membership committee, you will be the only person in the chapter representing your specific business or professional specialty. This enables you to receive all of the referrals other members are able to generate for you.
Meeting Agenda
Open Networking
Meetings always start with 15 minutes of open networking for memebrs to converse and to met visitors.
Referral Networking Education
A brief 3-5 minute presentation on business networking or referral marketing.
60 Second Presentation
Each member stands up and presents a 60 second commercial of themselves, their business, and what types of referrals they are looking for.
Speaker of the Week
Each week a different member gives a 6-12 minute presentation descibing their business and services, including questions and answers.
Referrals and Testimonials
The most important part of the meeting, of course, if the passing of the referrals and/or testimonials. What we like to call the “I Have” portion of the meeting.
Weekly Doorprize
Each week the speaker is to bring a doorprize (usually valued no more that 20-25 dollars). The winner is picked from the members that gave a referral or had brought a visitor.
